Camera systems
« on: June 07, 2017, 10:58:58 PM »
Hey Guys,

Its amazing what's been done here, designed and made and I can't wait to try it. But I can't find much on the cameras people are using? As we know that's one of the main parts with drones like these for ariel photography and video.

Any help?

Thanks,

i have yet to get a proper answer for this question. i think most people use a 2 axis gimbal. there is someone in here that has a 3 axis gimbal tho as they have the drone film its own arms moving from the down position to the up position.. good luck

So specifically,  is there a 4K camera that can be adapted or mounted on a gimbal on the Mavic or Inspire clone?

Or is it possible to buy a second hand DJI 4K camera off of eBay and mount it to the Mavic or Inspire clone?

Yeah,  I was talking about a 4K fpv camera. Most of the RumCam cameras are 1080 HD.  Looks like Runcam 5 just hit the market.

Did you have any luck with your Mavic gimbal?

You have to consider budget and use case...

  • 4k FPV Camera (4k Recording only).
  • 2.4Ghz HD system - https://fpv.blue/
  • 5Ghz HD Transmitter -
  • R2Teck DVL-1 Full HD FPV video system -
