Catch doesnt fit
« on: May 09, 2020, 11:42:56 AM »
I have tried both the NAZA and the F3 catch. I cannot get either to actually clip to the top-rear section as the lip of the top-rear seems to be too forward for the catch to reach.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Can you show a pic? I had to install the small version V.3 of the arducopter to make it all fit with the cabling and stuff.

I experienced the same with the F3-version of the catch, I had to file it down a bit and now it works.
The Naza version is slightly different, I later read somewhere in this forum that someone was luckier with that one.

Printed in ABS, maybe the parts shrank a little due to temperature differences. At first I printed alle parts seperatly, the catch failed because the layers didn't have enough time to cool down. So I printed multiple small parts at the same time and they came out nicely.

I had the same problem. It needs a bit of sanding. Do the sanding on the cover or the border of the canopy. Do not sand the hook and the catcher because they can can lost grip and slip off at any time.
I hope this helps.
