The sonar board is HC-SR04.. just search for that. They are really cheap so I got two. :-)

Thanks, ya I typically order spares of everything to have on hand.  Just in case I want to build 2 heh.  I have actually decided to start printing ha.  I might try and pick up a Naza M Lite if I can and then will try and build another once you get the Pixracer as well.  Won't hurt to have 2 going! ;)  Will still be cheaper than buying a full blown Mavic by far haha.

Now updated to version 4.0  I'll crack on with the Naza version tomorrow. The legs will be the same on both builds.

Thanks,

Steve

Cool, I will print up the legs then, and await the Middle section for the Naza tomorrow.

For those that were superfast off the mark and have already downloaded the files v4.0. I had 3 front arms and only one back. I've corrected this now.. apologies, please redownload.

Sorry,

Steve

OMG, don't let it happen again!  Heh j/k, I only started printing the fronts, so I should be ok heh.  I will re-download and print the backs heh.  And await the Naza files tomorrow to print the Base and Middle.  I think the Plungers I found on Amazon will work, just will be a lot more expensive.  Still waiting word on if that eBay supplier will ship to the States.  But the ones on Amazon are 6mm wide by 7mm long, so should be fine, just have a Steel ball, so might be heavier.

Great, let me know and I'll post a link to them on the first post for fella State members. :-)  I've just finished the Naza changes but need to create all the stl's and rotate them for printing plus update all the other bits so no reason why they wont be out tomorrow. Its 23:34 .. so nearly bedtime here now.

Thanks,

Steve

This is what I ordered, so here's hoping.  They have diff p/n's on the site, but going by the site, the only 6mm ones they show all have 7mm length.  And according to the length in desc, it is so should match up.  And I ended up ordering all plastic this next go round, so should be similar.

https://www.amazon.com/Kipp-PFP-108-All-Plastic-Push-Fit-Diameter/dp/B002JJ8VHY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1489013355&sr=8-3&keywords=kipp+push-fit+plunger+6mm

Here's the specs from their site:

http://www.kippusa.com/us/en/Products/Spring-Plungers/Push-Fit-Plungers/K0334-Spring-Plungerspush-fit-plastic.html?search_keywords=3071-206

So hopefully they are very similar overall.  Just much more expensive haha.  I ordered 20 of them and with shipping was $30 something US.

For those looking for the plungers that CDR is using, I talked with the seller he purchased them from and he is willing to ship to the US for 5 GBP, he supposedly made a new listing for this, but it doesn't seem to work, so you might need to just contact him and he will create you a PayPal invoice for it, total price is 15 GBP which is around $18 US.  Which is not bad at all for 50 units compared to what I paid for 20 units of the others I ordered for around $20 or so.

Saw this project and just knew i had to print it...

Looks like the plungers are going to be a sticking point for a few of us now as the ebay listing has ended and the seller does not appear to have any more for sale.
There are listings for steel 5mm but all appear to be from hong kong

Are there alternates or will the design change as i would like to know before i commit to printing the legs and body.

You could print off some small plugs the same dimensions as the plungers and use those to build the kit whilst you wait. Obviously you wouldn't be able to fold it it up but at least you know the legs are firm and won't fold up in-flight.

6mm dia base, 7mm high and a smaller top piece 4.6mm dia, 2.8mm high. You can then replace when the plungers arrive.
