Hey guys,

i recently started the mavic clone F3 build, but i am having difficulties with some components and i would like to redesign the internals so i can fit the gear i have.

Does anyone have the 3d model files, not stl's since i cannot find a proper way to convert them to 3d usable model for SolidWorks let's say.

Thank you.
Have a great hot summer evening.

Have a look on the download section and you should find some iges files. I think they are a version behind but from memory the bottom hasn't changed so you should be able to import that into Solidworks :-)

Thank you for the quick reply CdRsKuLL, very helpful.

I was wondering if someone knows if there are any prop adapters for 5mm motor shaft and 3mm bore shaft for the mavic props (8330). I bought the "Racestar BR2205 2300KV" motors which are with 5mm shaft.
All adapters i could find are up sizing, but cant seem to find downsizing 5mm to 3mm. If anyone has any information on the matter please share.
Has anyone lucked out making the 3mm hole of the props to 5mm lets say?

Sorry if i am spamming in the wrong topic, CdRsKuLL, feel free to move my post if you find it necessary.

Thank you

Still learning this stuff as i go alone, can anyone confirm if motors need to be reversed at the back? I've bought Black Widow 2204 motors, flashed them using BLHeli to 14.9 yesterday but i'm sure i read somewhere that the rear motors need to be reversed?

On Quadcopters (generally on Multicopters) the Motors need to rotate in specific directions.

IF you have your Quadcopter which looks like a X this is how the motors need to rotate!

What screws are used for the drone, for example to fix the arms/legs? The rear arms can be fix using m3 nuts and bolts but at the front is no space for the nuts.

Does anybody have a list of nuts, screws, or bolts you need to build this?

CdRsKuLL, what software did you use to design the Mavic Clone?  Would you be willing to share the original files?  I am asking because I want to scale it up to allow me to use my Ardupilot 2.7 flight controller and its associated accessories.  I have looked at the 135% version which is nice but there are some things I would like to change or keep the same as the original. I have the sonar sensor and want to use it in the original location and hole sizes, they are plugged on the 135% version.

Thanks for all your effort in making this design, I plan on starting to print the parts this week as soon as I am happy with the calibration of my printer.  It is close now but I want it better.

I found the iges files in the download section, thank you for providing them.  Now I need to scale them to the size I want while making sure all of the holes remain the same size as in your original designs.  I think this is going to take some time to accomplish but I have plenty of that available.

Do some maths

if you say want to scale 135% and hole centres is 19mm @ 100% scale

then for 135% motor holes should be about 12.35mm (Then scale in Slicer and holes then should be at 19mm)

just take off -35% off all holes Ø and you will be fine wont take long to do it
