Hey Boris,

First, welcome to the forums :-) good to have you here and many thanks for your kind comments.

Second... Thank you for your donation, it's very much appreciated and will be spent on a pixracer.. as others have requested a build with that FC so I now have enough to purchase one and get designing up. :-)  I've given you a title of Elite DIY RC Supporter which doesn't mean anything really but is my way of saying thankyou.  .. So.. Arise Sir Boris H.H. you DIY RC Supporter :-)

Hello
I do not want to use the black widow engines.
Which ESCs are recommended (4in1 ESC?) and where you can install them best.

There are tiny Esc on sale in ebay; however it may take a lot of  space not only by the size of the ESC but the wiring nonetheless. I was thinking to buy ESCs myself but luckily found the Black widows 2208  1200 KV at $15 each in Hobby King.

Hi FlyingFrosch,

Welcome to the forums :-)  You do have a bit of room down each side but its quite tight really. If you have an idea what esc's you are looking at using then I'll measure up mine to see if they will fit for you.  Any reason why you dont want to use the black windows?

Hi Guys,

I am really new in the Printer scene. but not in flying drones :)
I saw the Post in the 3DPrinting FB Group. And what can i say else...I want this little thing  8)

My question to the beginning is about the Motors. I have a package of the "6th Anniversary Set" from Tiger Motors that are MN2213 950KV
Does these Motors work/fit on the Mavic clone ore are they to weak?

regards
worstcase

It's about time! ;)  Just kidding!  So if we printed the arms from the F3 last night we are good, right?  Just need to print the Base and Middle from this and everything else should be the same?

Ohh and btw, THANKS!

You will also need a new top.. but that wont make any difference really. The new one doesn't have and notches in it. :-)

3D Iges files released too now :-)

Off to make a brew!

Thanks,

Hahaha, I haven't ventured that far, but we truly appreciate your efforts by far, I donated once, I will surely donate again when I can.  Gots to keep you stocked up.  Keep in mind I have only had a printer for going on a month now.  So I am still pretty fresh at all this heh, mostly goofing off stuff learning as I go.  I have a LONG way to go on understanding all the settings etc.  No doubt I could probably make my prints so much nicer if I understood what I was doing haha.  But it is all a learning process and am so glad I found this site, cuz it def adds to my other hobby.

Thanks again for everything you put into this, and hopefully continue to do.  Hopefully with all of our talents we have in here we can truly have some serious fun and get some very nice crafts going.

Worstcase, welcome to the "scene" . I think those motors may be worthy of give them a try. I have used those for quads bigger than the Marvic. The important is to get the experience, and who knows, you may have a great build done in a short time.

For those looking for the plungers that CDR is using, I talked with the seller he purchased them from and he is willing to ship to the US for 5 GBP, he supposedly made a new listing for this, but it doesn't seem to work, so you might need to just contact him and he will create you a PayPal invoice for it, total price is 15 GBP which is around $18 US.  Which is not bad at all for 50 units compared to what I paid for 20 units of the others I ordered for around $20 or so.

Hello. Thank you so much for your work. There is a way to insert a GoPro?

Hi leucas,

Welcome to the forums :-)  At the moment I've ordered some motors to try and make a gimbal but the gopro is quite big compared to how much room we have. I will know more when I get the motors.

I'll be posting about it once I receive them.

Thanks,

Steve
