What does an APM flight card do?

Is it used in this building?

I'm asking because I do not know ...

Thats to do with a different flight controller.

What are the characteristics of the flight card you offer for this building?
Can you stay in unattended air?

Me again :)
Just one more question for the moment: Would you still recommend the F3 Board from the Instructions Thread to start with the project or did you already figure out a better one? I'm willing to make my own experience when I build the drone of course but I would like to start with a solid base and your experience would really help. If you doesn't recommend something else I will go with the F3 and see where it takes me.

Regards
David

Thanks a lot for this!
I'm an amateur flyer. I started off with a small Hubsan FPV and then bought myself a Eachine 250 Racer. The racer has taught me a lot, but I have realized that a small drone perhaps isn't the best for me. When it comes to flying, I'm more of a look at the beautiful view kind of guy.

How close do you guys think this clone, could be to the original Mavic?

Hi

Just started printing out the mavic pro, naza m lite model. Great work with making the model btw!
The only issue i have right now, is that i can't find any list of nuts and screws to use on this build?

Does anyone have a list?

Hi Zaghir,

There is a list somewhere but they are all M3 screws, I just got a selection and just pick from them so didn't really measure them. Do a search and they should come up.

Thanks,

Steve

Hello all, been looking for a few days and I am very impressed with the progress thus far.  Just so happens I was fixing a genuine Mavic for a friend and stumbled upon this thread.  I happen to have an unused Naza Lite FC that I was given for fixing a Phantom a while back so works out perfect.  I am not a huge fan of DJI but that is mostly due to their "Apple-Esque" proprietary lock-downs and prices.  The design and functionality of the Mavic though is without a doubt very nice so I love what you have done  here to bring it to the open source maker side of things.  CDRSkull, major respects to you sir... and all who have contributed.

That being said, I have seen some discussion of fitting the Naza Lite GPS into the nose piece next to the Rx... The v3 is the one pretty sure I am talking about (the white round one).  I have also seen one gentlemans post who fit the older larger square gps, but I can not find anywhere that has the actual files of anything for the v3 gps.  I am asking because yes I am obviously trying to use this version, but also if there is not one available yet I would be happy to take that project on myself to give something back.  Please let me know if this is something that would be helpful and if not then feel free to throw something else my way.  Thanks again for all of your work!

Hi Guys
Well I finished printing mine, but now am tryig to fit all the components - sems to be a challange.
So maybe some has BOM.
Spring Ball Plunger
Autopilot: Naza M2
Power Distribution: ??
GPS: Naza one seems to be too big to fit - what is recomended?
Motors: Proposed Black Widow 1800kv with built-in ESC but is out of stock at hobbyking
Mavic Replacment Propellers
2400mah battery
Reicever: FrSky D4R-II 4ch 2.4Ghz ACCST Receiver (w/telemetry)

Gimbal ??

I would love if someone how used the GJI Naza to provide detailed list of components used as the once I have like my receiver, the GPS, etc don't fit

Also would be nice to add lightbridge, but could be too expensive and not enough space.

Sorry cant help with the majority of your problems being that I am having trouble getting everything to fit as well, however it sounds like you are having trouble fitting the Rx and GPS, I did post this yesterday and maybe will help a little bit?  Hope you can use it, here is where I posted it...  Good luck... http://diyrc.co.uk/3d-printed-mavic-clone/redesigned-nose-naza-version-w-round-gps-d4r-ii-rx/

Gee thaks, I will definately try this. Well is not only about trying yo fit everything, is also buying all the components. Some of the components I want to replace, for egsample I have older motors with ESC's. I want to get the Black Wirrow motors wich should reduce the components, but now, tey out of stock, same goes for all the other parts. so Geeting an accurate sugested shopling list together with parts that we knw will work could help eveyone to assess if they want to even go down this road of building the drone ot not.

I mean, I finished printing the drome , now I realized most of mu cmonents will not fit. So now what? that's why I recon it will help everone to have this list.

Hello everybody!

I'm new here and I have a few questions about the parts and the wiring.
1. Is it possible to mount a camera onto the Mavic? Maybe even the original one with the gimbal?
2. How much filament do I have to use for a full frame?
3. Is the wiring the same like at the F3?
4. Are the parts the same like at the one with the F3?
Hope you could understand me, my first language is German and not English ;D

I get an error trying to access this link. I have printed the body and now I'm looking to fit the motors/electronics and I'm hoping to buy the electronics directly from DJI.
