Runcam Split Mounting?
« on: July 09, 2018, 04:29:07 AM »
Howdy Folks
I am playing around with some mounting options for my 120% scale version of this Mavic Clone.  I plan to have a Pitch-tilt-only servo controlled by my Naza V2.  So a single servo inside the nose tilting the camera portion of the runcam split back and forth.

Does anyone know of a mount that has been developed that could be fairly easily adapted to this purpose?  Like a thingiverse item that I can import into Tinkercad and merge with the existing gimbal mounting part?

I want to go with the runcam split due to the good recording while having a smaller form factor on the actual imaging part.  It just looks like it makes good sense.  But I have not bought it yet.  So I am still open to ideas....

My goal is to shoot fairly decent video, and still have an FPV downlink to fly with.  And to have a neatly folded drone at the end of the day.  So far the folding neatly part has been pretty easy.
