Transmitter?
« on: July 26, 2019, 08:37:03 PM »
Hi Guys,

Nice to see this kind of forum, now that i can combine my two hobbies. I am going to start my project soon. I am using much time these days to gather intel about my future Mavic Clone project.

What kind of transmitter do you use, which is the most stable and reliable one and are som of you use smartphones and apps in supplement?

I have looked at the FlySky FS-i6, Devo7 and the FSFLY T-SIX. Any other recommendations? And why?

Main focus areas: Battery time, Flexibility in terms of programming, Range and reliability

BR
Stephan

Hi Stephan,

This forum has a lot of good info, and some knowledgeable people AND some great STL files for Mavics, but I get the feeling that there isn't a huge amount of interaction or activity.

How did you go with your choice of transmitter/receiver?
After a little research and some discussion with 'foldingllama' who is building a Mavic clone too, I've bought  the Flysky FS-I6s 10-channel transmitter plus the FS-IA6B 6-channel receiver. I haven't installed the receiver inside the Mavic body yet... it's quite large, so I'll have to modify the body somewhat.

BTW, if you haven't seen it yet, foldingllama's build diary has lots of useful info: http://diyrc.co.uk/mavic-build-diaries/mavic-clone-and-so-it-begun-(by-foldingllama)/

regards,
Bernie
