On FedEx vehicle for delivery today. FINALLY! At least I was proactive, and have a few rolls of different types of filament on hand, ready to go. I ordered a roll of the Color Fab XT, with carbon fiber. Looking to try that out soon. WO HOO!
Phantom 2, Zenmuse H3-3D, Hero 4 Silver, Immersion FPV, Mini iOSD, Ground Station, Flytrex, Taranis x9D plus, X8r receiver. I just can't seem to stop, but I'm out of room, so I guess I need to print a new bird!

Yes, I've been keeping up with the posts in the forums while I wait. The prints that have been posted from the Da Vinci look great.

As you know, I purchased the Robo as  refurb direct from the company. They are a fairly new startup, and I have had to contact them directly on the phone as I was not able to get any reply to my emails. It looks like they don't have a good system for actually shipping the refurbs they sell on ebay, as I am not the only one that has had an issue. I suspect that had I not continued to call, it may still be waiting to be shipped. Pretty sad when you consider that all the accessories and filament that I ordered after the auction ended have been here for days already. Just a heads up for anyone that may decide to grab one of these refurbs on ebay.

They claim to have much better support for the actual printer, but that remains to be seen I guess. Now, where is that FedEx guy?!

I've been wanting to get a 3D printer for some time and the range of choice can be daunting to a new comer and so I decided to take the plunge and get one that I thought would teach me which one I should really buy ;) I went for the Geeetech I3 Pro B and it just arrived 2 days ago. I'm not sure if it has all of the features that I need for this project but we'll see. The build will begin this weekend I hope. I have to sort the project room out for building the Inspire Clone where the printer will have pride of place.

It will print 5 different mediums, ABS/PLA/Wood/Nylon/FlexiblePLA http://www.geeetech.com/acrylic-geeetech-i3-pro-b-3d-printer-kit-p-917.html.  I have also purchased the parts to add a Lcheapo laser cutter http://robots-everywhere.com/re_wiki/index.php?n=Main.LCheapo

I've looking at the advance in printable mediums and it is happening at a breathtaking pace. Exciting stuff!

I found this chart which offers a simplistic overview of the Elongation/Tensile properties of some different mediums.

Helo guys! I don't want to buy 3d printer.  Just want to used it for some time. Maybe, someone can give me that thing? I will take printer for a rent? What you think about that?

I wouldn't hold your breath. Borrowing someone 3D Printer would be like being lent someone's wife. No one treats a printer that way the owners does. They are not that robust and I very much doubt you will get a taker. I live and learn, so will be keep my eye on this thread... I would like to be proved wrong...

Go grab a secondhand one.. Use it and sell for same price if you get a good deal.... But I bet the only reason you will sell is to upgrade..lol once you can print its amazing the bits you make.
