Well guys. Last Thursday. I finally had my first print. After a lot of help from Steve on Facebook. I was successful the first time.

Guys if you are thinking of getting one and not sure.  I suggest you do. These are some sick printers for a really good price.

Hey Dave,

Wasn't for me to be honest. I found it a bit messy and although gave amazing, outstanding results!! Small prints were just not really required. I can see where it would fit in.. making small figures etc it would be ideal.   I sold it quite a few months back and haven't missed it once.  I now have 7 FDM printers and 2 more on there way.. Yeah I know, I need to go to councilling maybe.  ::) ::)

Hi,

Shame as is looked good but I was concerned about the volume size.
I asked as Anycubic have released a sla printer around the same price. Im so tempted but know its not for me, waiting for a affordable one with a larger print bed.

9 printers!!! what for, I have 2.

Only today have I got flashforge tuned in, Ive spent countless hours/days messing around with Simplify3d settings only to find I needed to tighten the pullys. Prints were acceptable before but now near perfect.

Cheers
Dave

Yeah, it was the bed limit but also the time it took to print.  They are good without a doubt but you need a good reason to buy one.  I've a Flashforge dreamer, great little printer.. only thing I have that I know can print decent ABS :-)
