optimized upper parts for more space
« on: February 07, 2018, 07:56:07 AM »
Hello due to a space problem I have optimized the tops a little bit.

The catch is a little tight but after a little finishing with sandpaper and file it fits quite well.

I know this is old but we are new at drones and 3d printing. My son and I have gotten into this hobby full bore and love this Mavic Clone build. Our setup is a Naza M V2 and these mods are great for us but we were wondering if anyone has made a new rear latch to go with this taller setup. I am planning on stretching the old design if no one has done this already.

Thanx

Gunone69 and son

My printer didn't do the latch very well on the f3 version, it looks fine but it just doesn't fit, I thought the printer could have shrunk it or somthing, the inner curve stops it engaging the lump in the lid and when I shaved it back the cut out didn't fit the lump.
Now youve said it I'm wondering if the two latch files are the same or not, I can't just check right now but will later.
I was going to redraw the latch but if it's different to the naza version it may not be of much use to you.
