Hi Tommy,

Now your just showing off lol (no offence )

Would you be willing to provide me with some help in getting the electronics working?
I have so far burnt out a servo, nano and a few other parts.

The arduino coding seemed to have gon right, but I am slightly confused with wiring and setup

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

I have opted for no arduino,
only 2 switches + 2 small diodes, and it works great,
but for that to work, you must open up a servo and solder switches circuit on motor wires.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2327044&page=101&highlight=diodes#post32762033

but for servo to work reliably(not on bench, but in air, over 100+ times...) I think design needs some help,
I used quick fix with sillicone tubing, to take stress out of that mechanism,
http://diyrc.co.uk/3d-printed-inspire-clone/question-on-lifting-the-arms-up-and-down/msg1056/#msg1056

you can see it on above picture, moed as close to central body, so tension is pretty much same all time, no matter if arms are raised or lowered,t
to cancel out the weight of body(battery weight mostly)

(like on garage doors, you have a spring that cancels most of door's weight, if you know how it works)
so electrical motor only 'sees' 1/10th of garage doors weight... else it would burn out too...
or move too quickly down, and too slowly up!,  this way it moves same up/down , and counsumes same power, no overheating...
