134% Scale Mavic Build

Hey all
Before I even get into it I'd like to say thank you to the original maker of these files. You did an outstanding job and I can easily see all the thought and testing put into them.
Well the snow has melted here in Canada and I'm finally ready to build a mavic style quadcopter as I have been wanting to do for 5quite some time. I am using all parts I already have from a previous flamewheel 450 build to do it. I am scaling the model 135% to allow more room for all my components including a 5200mah 3s battery. The components being used are as follows;
APM 2.8 flight controller with separate gps/compass
4 30 amp esc
4 dji 920kv motors
915mhz telemetry
small fpv camera
200mw vtx
frsky rx (xm+ to start and will replace later with a telemetry capable one)
minimosd
I print an original size copy of the files in the download section to test for fitment/positioning. I am now scaling and modifying the files using fusion360 to adapt to how I will set mine up. As long as I don't run into any technical difficulties I should have all components printed by end of the week. Next week when I'm off work I will start the assembly process. All parts are printed on a flsun printer with 20%infil for body and 50% for arms using black petg.

I am interest in your project.
Will build one too.
Have all parts from my previous project Inspire one ( find it too heavy).

I have printed most of the scaled model. I have made some modifications to it to fit all my components. Very happy with how it is coming out. I need to go to Canadian tire and get some bolts. On my next day off I should be able to start piecing it together.

I have made some modifications to my scaled copy for the specific gear I am using. On the rear I added a hole for telemetry antenna and removed the hole for leds. I filled in the sonar holes and added another hole on bottom for video antenna to go through. I filled in the gimbal area and added ventilation slots which will also be used to mount gimbal in future. I have also added a hole in front for a fpv camera. Overall it came out pretty good. Still have a few bits to print and then Tuesday I'll try to assemble it all.

Well it's alive. First test flight was good. I have some more modifications to do yet to clean it up a bit more but overall I am happy. Smaller battery fits but 5200mah is a bit large. It'll fit when I'm done with it though. Lol Also I'm currently using a turnigy 9x tx/rx which takes up a lot more room than xm+ I planned to use at first.

Very nice work :-) Great feeling when it fly's after all the time you've spent on it.

Nice build! Would be really awesome if you could upload the Scaled STL or CAD Files!
I am considering to build an enlarged version of the Mavic so all components will fit nicely into the enclosure!
Thanks in advance!

Hey. I am not home right now but later this week when I get home I'll upload the stls. I had a slight mishap last week and need to reprint an arm and battery tray myself.

Hi Jondevos,
We know you're busy. Any chance to share your STL files? Sorry to bother you. But we'll be grateful for your hardwork editing the size of the holes. Big thanks in advance..
