Came across this site last week and thought I would give it a go.
Finished all the printing and just waiting on parts to arrive.

looks good, is the modification to hold the new larger type GPS unit.

I have the Naza N light and the GPS won't fit, I was thinking to place it in the same place you have.

any chance of posting the modified parts?

Regards
Neil

Iím going to remove the gps from its case and fit under the front nose cover.

Added the STL files, they may need cleaning up better.

Note: both covers are slightly higher to allow for more room, you will need to print
         them as a pair.

Just a question on the front legs where the motors are mounted, I have noticed that the motor tilts slightly back.
Is this correct or should they be level.

Hi,

I am interested in a few things as I am in the process of printing the parts to do my own build:

1) Where did you source the springs from please?
2) Have you successfully wired up the components?  I am new to the RC world so I have no knowledge of the wiring.
3) What screws are you using for the shell?

Thank you and it looks good so far :)

Plungers are from ebay, 6@ 6mm W x 7mm L.
I will be using the Naza light controller with gps, just waiting on the motors to arrive.
Socket head screws are from hobby king M3 25mm,26mm,30mm,35mm.

what size motors are you planning to use, I used 2212 900kVA which did not fit the arms designed for the Blackwidow ones.

I had to re do the end to mount the 2212 but had big problem making the changes, so the result is not good enough to share.
fusion 360 did not like to make changes to the files.

regards

neil

Opened up the GPS.
Glued the cable around and kept the notch to the front as thats the arrow forward, then put some hot glue in the 4 spots where the screws would go.
I put some tape over it to protect the components, the nose piece will hold it into place once bolted in, also I had to file a little section out so it doesn't touch the small components on the board.

Next was to fit the Orange RX, I removed it from its case as that gives more room.
I then put some double sided tape under it and stuck it down.

Done for now, just waiting on the ESC then I can test fly it.
Its all binded to the Transmitter and the Naza software all setup ready to fly.
