Well, fitted all the electronics in, with a few mods here and there.

Went with the Black Widows, 2212 - 1000kv. Hope the flight time is decent.

Oww looking forward to it. :-). Btw your gimbal holder is back to front ;-)

Then I also want a report on what you thought of the build ;-)

It flies.....yahooooooo

Sorry about the shaky video, I was a bit nervous, flying and filming:-[

Couldn't find a way to rotate it, also difficult getting it to below 2k size limit so not good quality

Hi Steve

Yes the gimbal holder wouldn't fit the other way, it hits the back so put it on that way for now.

Did you see the flight?

Here's a photo of the gimbal holder.. It should just click into place, although you have to fit it before you attach the middle to the base or you might not get it in with the four long screws already in place.

Really chuffed you got her flying :-)

Doh! What a nerd, didn't realise it went inside.

I'm happy where it is. I don't intend to fit a gimbal anyway. I just want a drone that looks as cool as the Mavic for atti which you can't do. Might fit FPV though.

Cheers

Great video, triafgg. Gives me something to look forward to ;D
Have you tried any longer distance flights? What kind of flight times are you getting?

Nice video, I could see the confidence growing as time went on :-)

Defo needs an fpv adding :-)  Don't know if you saw but my vtx turned up from HongKong.. it's really small ideal for this build, it says its 72 channel!!! mind boggles!  Anyway, I'll get round to adding it this week sometime, not sure where yet.

Let me know if you need any help with the nose part, I could just leave it empty and print the eye bits at the front for you?
