My Mavic from France
« on: August 22, 2020, 10:15:12 AM »
Hello guy's

I built a Mavic drone thanks to CDRSkull and all the information available here, so thank you already.
It is not finished yet but it is on the right track.
I have started some takeoff tests, not easy, I still have settings that should not be good in Betaflight.

Here is my configuration:

Mavic pro motor and propeller
Eachine X220S 30A 4in1 ESC board
FC Matek F405 CTR
3000Mah LIPO
CADDX Ratel Camera
VTX TBS Unify pro 32HV
Flysky I6X Radio with receiver FS IA10B.

I'm missing the video receiver for the phone, I'm thinking of putting the eachine OTG even though I know it won't be as good as a real FPV headset, but not the budget for that.

Otherwise at the level of the frame I printed in pla / abs and petg (I finished my spools of filaments).

I still have to make custom pieces I'll post them to you STL files.
On the other hand for those who put the mavic engines, I have the impression that 2 engines turns slower than the 2 others ??
I've buy this kit :

Bad news ... after the 1st test flight I crashed the drone was over 10m high. 1 arm torn off and the low frame heavily skilled. I'm going to make a homemade wooden frame to learn to drive before rebuilding this one :(
