it hovers!
« on: June 22, 2018, 10:59:10 PM »
after a couple of attempts with larger props the smaller ones did the trick.  The build uses ZTW 2300KV motors with the Naza M v2 and DJI's receiver.  I modified the nose and removed the locations for the receiver and made a new one for the DJI receiver.  I also modified the top so the gps receiver has a place to go.  I need to make the legs stronger by the motors and do some other tweaking.

Great job :-) nothing better than getting it up in the air for the first time and it doing what it should.  I found myself being more careful with the one I built than the real mavic. Silly really, but you do tend to form a bond with it after all the work you put in.
